I am a big Nora Roberts fan; however, I can tell by reading this novel that it's one of her early works because it doesn't contain the character development of her latest novels. Still, it's a nice easy read for a lazy Sunday afternoon. The basis of the novel is that BJ Clark, the protagonist, runs a small, charming and old-fashioned inn, and sparks begin to fly when hotel tycoon Taylor Reynolds comes to town to modernize her inn and destroy its uniqueness. A typical happy ending ensues.

Like the lovely Vermont inn she managed, BJ Clark was charming and old-fashioned. And she had no intention of allowing the new owner, hotel tycoonTaylor Reynolds, to modernize her beloved inn and destroy its uniqueness. Taylor lived a fast paced life of high tech surroundings and sleek, sophisticated women. But his fascination with this innocent enchantress made him long to live in BJ's arms from this day until forever.
