I love Elizabeth Berg's books. The women characters in them feel like old friends. They are so real. This was a book full of short stories about women who got bold and did something "crazy." My favorite story was the one about the woman who acted like an interior decorator just to get back into her old home and meet the woman her ex-husband was engaged to. I also liked the story about the older woman who went to Las Vegas and decided to lie about everything from her name to her life story just for kicks. Oh yes! And the one about the women who dared each other to make a date w/ very, very ex-boyfriends. This is one I'm gonna hang onto to loan to friends & keep on my bookshelf. Such a cute cover, too.

A great read for anyone who has suffered with weight issues from childhood. Some of the scenes took my breath away, they were so close to what had happened to me. There were some recurring details in the short stories that got boring after a while, but each story was unique and interesting. I highly recommend this book.
