This is one of my favorite in the Breed Series. Heard a few bad reviews because a lot of people were turned off by Dawn's storyline. I thought it was a great read.
Loved the book! I thought it was very well written. It's shows the triumph of facing and overcoming of a devastating past. A wonderful addition to a great series. Definitely a keeper!

Love this series. This is Dawn and Seth's story. As usual, HOT! But also a good story.

Fantastic! I could not put it down. The best one in this series yet.

Dawn is the smart ass Cougar who was abused and broken by the labs. Seth is the alpha male with a romantic core. Lots of underlying angst, lots of sexy sex (several of which are re-readable)! Solidly recommended!

I love the series and I loved this book. Many characters from earlier books are in this one. You really have to read the 1st 4 books in the series starting with Tempting the Beast to get the full effect of the story. This is the most emotional of all the books because it deals with abuse Dawn endured as a child. I liked the end and can't wait for the next installment.

Love this series, the Breeds are wonderful. This is Dawn and Seth's story. She is an enforcer and he is the man destined to be her mate. They both try to fight it but as we know, you can't fight it.
You got to be ready for hubba hubba sex in these Breed books. Honey these guys are packing and Lora Leigh is writing! I save them all for re-reading.
i have been waiting for this book since Seth was introduced in a prior book. I also like how this book brings into play Dane again. Dash's story was another favorite of mine & I loved his role throughout this book and Cassie is all grown up now. Loves this series because you can't wait to pick up the next book and see who it involves, etc.
I loved this book. Very strong female character and loved the character Cassi.
Great book. Keeps you on your toes.
I have enjoyed all the books so far but this store was by far my favorite!
wasn't sure what to expect with this series. i shoulda read it sooner.....it's lora leigh!!1 what was i thinking! good read.
I really enjoy reading the Breeds series. You can read each out of order and you loose nothing. This one in particular I enjoyed it because of the view point from a woman. It made for a great strong romance. Looking forward to the next in the series.
I really enjoy this series. Some titles have too much sex and not enough story. "Dawn's Awakening" has a good balance of both.
One of my favorite Breeds stories from Lora Leigh. Dawn's Awakening has Seth who has got to be one of the sweetest alpha males in this series. I can't say enough about the soaps he collects for her. You have to read that section for yourself.
There's the typical intrigue and threats to the Breeds from Council related folks. It's a satisfying story. The sections with Cassie and the mysterious sniper are so fascinating. Clearly, he's a future mate. The epilogue will leave you wanting to know more about Cassie and the mysterious Breed. I have a feeling I already know who it is.

This is a great book. The Feline Breeds is a wonderful series.
Good as usual. I liked Cassie a lot and hope there will be a book about her and her mate, guess I'll just have to keep reading!!!
I enjoyed it. Not my favorite Lora L book, but definitely worth reading.
Dawn's Awakening is the worst breed book in this series so far. I didn't care at all about Dawn or Seth. I didn't care about the plot and ended skimming the last hundred pages. I'm on the fence about continuing with this series.
This by far is the best, due to the fact that Dawn after 10 years with out her mate, dealing with her nightmares that she know are from the labs but doesn't remember them since she blocked them out. Now its time for Dawn to wake up and take charge of her past and her future with her mate. Unfortunately her mate Seth is getting engaged to another woman and there is also an killer out to get him, and he forbids Dawn to come her is island and reawaken the mating heat that he somehow over come. He should have realized Dawn is one stubborn Cougar Breed. She goes against not just Seths orders but also her brother Pride Leader Callen and agreed to be under Dash's orders as long as she is there to claim her mate and to protect him. Seth and Dawn have to deal with her past that will start to break from her memory and she also needs to let all the years of hurt and tears free which she fights all the time. Now there is a person from her past, the one man that created her they way she was but also her first rapist that she had to unlock from her memories to see the evil that is front of her face. That evil person also has his sights set on not just id little pet cougar but also a innocent wolf coyote hybrid Cassie. Cassie actually comes across her mate in this one but the guy is a trained sharpshooter and he is even smarter then Jones, so I cant wait to see exactly who he is but Cassie books will be the last but its a promising look into the future of the Breeds.
Great read - lots of action with lots of hotties! Feline Breeds #10 [I think!:]
#14 in the Breeds Chronology at last check.

loved the story cant wait to read more of these fromthis author
Didn't like this book at all. I can deal with a character having been horrifically abused for most of her/his life if the cycle breaks completely at some point and he/she is desired and cherished and treated with respect and courtesy. In addition to Dawn's horrible upbringing, Seth brings about the mating heat when she's young, abandons her as soon as he's told by by others that that's what's best, blames her for not coming around to find HIM, and proceeds to have sexual affairs with a lot of other women. When Dawn realizes she's still stuck in the mating heat and only able to desire him he continues to reject her in favor of another woman until halfway through the book. She didn't even have the option of being with another man who'd actually fight for her and not throw in the towel to move on and be with other women because there's no cure for Breeds the way there is for humans. Hated this book. With the way she was treated by him, the only reason I can see them being together in the end is because she (unlike the "hero" ) has no other choice.
