Loved this entire series. All the characters touch your hearts. This history of Ireland breaks your heart what these people went through. And yes history repeats itself as even today people suffer, hunger, live in despair, and only God is their hope.

Another GREAT book; I hated to see this series.

This is the fifth and last book of a wonderful series that takes place in the 1800's in both Ireland and New York City. The struggles of being an immigrant, along with racism and how God's love conquers all are themes. The plot is compelling and the characters are well-developed.
