Really enjoyed this book. I'm looking forward to reading book 2 in this series. You really feel connected to the characters and their story. It's a good shapeshifter/futuristic novel that will draw you in. There's a mix of erotica, suspense, and a little violence, but it was all handled rather well. You can't help but to fall in love with Kyrin and Daeshen, they're two men any woman would be happy to have. I'm always wary of ménage novels because I end up feeling like someone is the odd man out, but not with this one. Each person seemed to be an equal in this relationship. I would recommend picking this one up.

When I first read the review for this book on Amazon, I thought it would be an intresting read. So I got it. Well, now I wish I hadn't. If I could I'd wash my eyes out with bleach to get rid of the images this book created. I couldn't keep reading it.
The two main characters Kyrin and Daeshen kidnap Theadora. Alter her to suit their purpose of having babies. ALL without asking her. They never asked if she wanted to be alter. Never asked if she wanted to have their babies. Then they raped her. Never once giving her the chose of accepting or declining there oh-so kind offer of sex. They were really nice about it, though. Like that helps. NOT! Don't bother with this book. Save your credits and or money for a more worthy book. This one truly isn't worth it.
I could kick myself. I bought the sequels.

Futuristic romance by Theolyn Boese. A common storyline: Aliens from another planet need human women to mate with, because their own women were infected with a disease that either killed them off, or left them infertile. So, Theodora Connor is chosen to be the mate to two of the alien men. She's kidnapped, genetically altered, tattooed, pierced, and had a foreign object put in her head. When she wakes up, she finds herself with two "husbands" who want to begin marital relations right away, and then try to help her adjust to her new life. Some of the aliens are not happy to include the humans into their culture. This book includes menage, m/m sex, light bondage, rape, voilence, violence against a main character. I have mixed feelings about the storyline. For a race who considers themselves civilized and fair, their actions were unconscionable. However, when we finally get to the romance, it was fair. The ending is bitter sweet. Not for the faint of heart.

This was a differnet take on Sci fi/Futuristic menages and I really enjoyed reading it. I reviewed it as an E book when it first came ot and this is an author who creates characters that are multifaceted and fallible. I can't wait to read the 2nd one!

I really didn't think that I would like this book, but I find that I loved it! The author drops you in the middle of chaos (just like her character), letting you learn along with the leading lady. It was a bit rushed and not nearly long enough. I fully intend to follow up on this author.
