I'm not sure who in this book I dislike more-Amy the mom, or Sarah the kidnapper. From the moment Sarah takes Emma, you know this can't end well. But then after spending some time with mom Amy, a person who should never have children, you think, well... But still, it's kidnapping any way you look at it. This book is provocative to say the least, definitely thought provoking. All along the way, you yell 'Stop!' at Sarah. While she has Emma's best interests at heart, this is still kidnapping. Lots of good confusing relationships in this book to ponder over.
