great series. Can't wait to get the next book. Great stories of the Gold rush days and great insights about how God can work in our lives.

If you love reading about California in the Gold Rush days, but prefer a Christian picture of those days to the numerous books about the saloons and whorehouses, this series is like a breath of fresh air. It's humorous and touching, filled with all the emotion of a young girl reaching womanhood.
