Given what I usually read, I was a bit embarrassed to admit to reading this book. The writing was certainly light and quick, but the plot was very good. If you like paranormal romance/humor, you will definitely enjoy this book. Characters were hilarious and quirky, and, for the most part, not as shallow as you might expect. I may pick up the next in the series (just maybe not read it in public).

Eh, it was ok. It took awhile to get into the storyline. The characters are fun, and I liked they didn't fall in love the MOMENT they met, as happens in so many other novels. I liked that the badass female character was a "Rivka", which is my name in Hebrew. Her character's name makes sense in retrospect. Anyway, I agree with Candie's review; it was silly but not in the best silly way, like the Aisling Grey series by Kate MacAlister. I didn't like how Satan was represented; to me it undermined the story and I couldn't figure out why anybody would sleep with the guy in the first place. Maybe to stop him from whining? This is a mindless beach fun book, but even then you may find yourself losing interest and putting the book down in order to examine the cute bootays on the beach in shiny speedos.

I read this because I was looking for light, fun and whimsical (like Katie MacAllister or MaryJanice Davidson) , but this fell far from the mark. The depiction of Satan and Satan Jr. were utterly ridiculous, Justine and Theresa lacked real emotion, Derek believed all the Otherworld/Paranormal happenings far too easily and Quincy was just a wus. Plus, the storyline had far too many references to past deeds that made me wonder if I'd missed the first installment of the series. This was not the adventurous romp I hoped it would be & the only reason I kept reading until the end was because I hoped things would get better. They didn't.

Hmmmm... I dunno if I liked this or not. It was a fast read, it was silly. But it was silly is in the not Christopher Moore silly (which is more of a smart savvy silly). That doesn't make sense does it? Yeah, the book didn't either. It had it's moments of funny, but I think I'll stick to Chris Moore for stupid silly weird stuff.

Loved this book. It is exactly what it says it is on the front coverââa hilarious underworld romp'. I enjoyed it so much that I actually went to Amazon and ordered the second book as well as preordered the third.
We have Satan, Satan Jr, an 11 foot dragon, a guy with a curse on him, and the guardian of the goblet all thrown together in a great adventure! I read this book in less than two days and can not wait to get the second one in the mail.

A PG13 paranormal comedy! It is both funny & witty. I almost did not choose to finish this book as it seemed rather juvenile at first, with phrases like her dress was way low cut, but when I got to the 4th page and read about the curse that kills all LaValle men (in very outrageous & silly ways) when they are 31 years, forty six weeks, four days, six hours, three minutes and five seconds old, I was hooked!

Some suspension of disbelief is essential whenever you're reading, but this one stretched it to the brink of breaking. The action was so fast and furious tho that you never really got to know the characters. Still and all, it was a cute quick read.

A light quick, comical read. I have to admit, like another reviewer I feel embarrassed to have read this. It felt childish at times,and extremely repetitive, but I liked how fast it read. I just could not get over the image of the dragon character. I hated it. I couldn't recommend this for anything more than if you were sick in bed and had a fever and couldn't really concentrate but really wanted to read. This will do. Or TV Guide.

Romantic, comedy, fantasy, fiction!! All in one. Loved it!!
- This was my 1st book by Ms. Rowe, a 1-nighter by the way, and I immediately bought and started "Must Love Dragons" the same night!
- I'm typically a Historical Romance reader but the writing and characters, not to mention, the wonderful out loud chuckles, were just to delicious!

This is a fun, fast read by Stephanie Rowe. It's not heavy, but light and charming. You get to like the characters, even the ones who seem to be "bad", because of the humor Rowe lends to the story. If you like paranormal romances, this is a quick, fun read that you could easily finish in one day, even between car pools, doing laundry, and refereeing kids' fights! A good start to a fun series!

Fun, silly wacky paranormal romance. More like Katie McAllister than Mary Janice Davidson though. The characters are not as self-absorbed as Mary Jancie Davidson's. Looking forward to reading more of the series. And I was actually hoping Satan and win Iris over.

This is a great book when you want to read something lighthearted that will make you smile! I giggled several times and enjoyed the escapism that this book offers. If you need a lighter book to read this one is it!

I enjoyed this entire series. It isn't rocket science but it certainly is enjoyable. The characters are quirky, which I loved. The plots are interesting. And they are nice smooth, fast reads.

I read this book in a few days. It was an amazing book, very good and funny.
Not quite my cuppa tea. Truthfully I didn't finish, I only got about 1/3 of the way through. It just didn't hold my interest, as I don't have oodles of time to spend reading I'd rather not waste anymore time on it *maybe* getting better.
