Two unique novels in one. I actually preferred the first to the second. GATE OF DARKNESS, CIRCLE OF LIGHT had some great characters and was an urban fantasy. I really enjoyed how the ending tied together and the unresolved sexual tension.
THE FIRE'S STONE was a good fantasy about three people that form a love triangle that connects all ways. The plot was okay, and the characters were a little weak.

Not the best work that I've encountered of hers. It was ok. But her other works I've loved. I believe when I read this, that these were her first books, so it makes sense.
