The series gets better with each book, but it's not fabulous. The overall storyline continues with Alex planning a way to usurp Inanna. Then, a human is tossed into the mix. In spite of his precautions, Alex becomes entangled with Mikaela. Fairly suspenseful in parts, the sex was quite steamy and I didn't feel like it was the same thing over and over. Decent read, but it's pretty obvious that these were some of her early books.
