Excellent Book! Great read.
Another exciting thriller set in the southern Appalachians, featuring half-Cherokee lawyer Mary Crow. Great local color and fast-paced action!

Absolutely excellent book. I really loved this book, full of suspense. Hard to put this book down
For Assistant District Attorney Mary Crow, it will be the most harrowing challenge she has ever faced. Three federal judges are dead, apparent victims of an assassin determined to "execute" the American justice system. The FBI is desperate to protect the next suspected target-Judge Irene Hannah-but the stubborn jurist has adamantly refused protection.
When Judge Hannah suddenly vanishes, Mary must follow her old friend and mentor deep into the North Carolina wilderness she knows and loves. There, within the beautiful and treacherous forest, Mary will fight for survival in a place she knows all too well. In this wild, dangerous place, there is no law and nor mercy. There is only life, death...and a darker justice.
