A gentleman posts an unfortunate wager regarding his fiance. Lots of angst and squirming before the problem with the wager is either fulfilled or resolved. This is the first book in the "wager" series written by this author, next is "Lady's Wager". I think at some point I read one of the other books also because I had these two books on my list to track down and read and they were worth it! Excellent author, will look for other of her items.
