A quick read. Not the best of Higgins, but still a book loaded with quick action, numerous suspects, red herrings and false leads.

An adventure thriller about a ex-WWII commando who returns to the town on a Greek island that was the site of a failed mission to identify the real traitor who's betrayal of the operation to the Germans result in the execution of numerous townspeople in retaliation.
