If "Dallas" and "Dark Shadows" had a child, this would be it. Thousand year-old tall/sexy/etc. vamp grapples with venal descendants, his own doubts/guilts, and the women who love/lust/hate him. Oh, yeah, there's also the brooding bad guy, a faithful ghost, and a sentient swamp.
