This is the second book of the trilogy, very good books. I would start from book one and read them in order to get the most of the stories. Book one is Dark Road, Book three is Dark Angel.

Crime is unusual in this small religious Community, and they prefer to solve their problems within.

Enjoyable story
I particularly loved this book, living near the IL Amish community. I will be reading more of this author's books. Good mystery thriller!

What a great book. I'm sorry I read this before reading the first of the Trilogy Dark Road Home but certainly will now. I'm ready to move to Northwest Ohio tomorrow! The scenery in this book alone make it well worth reading.

Luke & Kat make an unlikely couple but love will always win out. I've really enjoyed this Amish trilogy.
Together Luke Brand (a widower and a leader in a peaceful Amish community) and Kat Lindley (a policewoman running from the big-city job that nearly got her killed) are determined to bring justice to the unknown perpetrators of recent hate crimes against the Amish community of Maplecreek. They are also struggling to suppress the unspoken and forbidden feelings growing between them.

Suspenseful book about an undercover agent in an Amish community, trying to figure out who is attacking children. Romance is intertwined in this action mystery.
