In Dark Harbor, Maine, Stone Barrington discovers a picturesque town where the shocking deaths of 3 people have cast a long shadow over this island haven-a locale as mysterious as it is exclusive. Stone hasn't heard from his cousin, Dick Stone, in years-though he has fond memories of a teenage summer spent at his house in Maine. But then the CIA's Lance Cabot interrupts an otherwise pleasant meal at Elaine's with news of Dick's death-apparently by his own hand. It seems that Dick Stone, a quiet family man who doubled as a CIA agent, methodically executed his wife, daughter, and then himself-or did he?

In Dark Harbor, Maine, Stone Barrington, goes to this town in Maine only to find his cousin and family murdered, then more girls are killed, but with the help of police, he discovers the killers, in a mix of intrigue and suspense. Stuart Woods is a master storyteller.

Stone is at it again, investigating the suicide of a CIA officer who is this own cousin. Stone travels to Dark Harbor, Maine for this adventure. Some familiar characters (Arrington, Holly Barker, Dino and even Ed Rawls) make an appearance in this novel. A great read, especially for Stone Barrington fans.

Right up there with the other Stone Barrington Novels by Stuart Woods.

A good whodonit with lots of mystery, suspense and action.
usual 'stone barrington' novel- good read
Another great Stone Barrington book. The death of Stone's cousin Dick and his inheritance of Dick's house off the coast of Maine sets off a series of murders in the quiet community of Dark Harbor. The murders are much like the murders of cousin Dick and his family and Stone has to find the killer before he is formally accused of the crimes, after all, who has more to gain than Stone?
A STONE BARRINGTON WITH ALL THE GANG A DELIGHT
Fantastic is the only way to describe this mystery.
