This was a nice comfortable story I read in a day. I haven't read a Danielle Steel in at least a decade, but this was still very familiar and entirely predictable. The love story was obvious in the first two pages and the drama plotline wasn't far behind. It took the award-winning investigative journalist a really long time to draw some obvious conclusions. The resolution was a little convenient, but it left everyone happy.
That said, I liked the main characters and had a lovely day with them.
