This book was amazing. The first chapter was a bit slow, but after that, it just didn't stop. This book made me want to buy a purple skirt and dance with dogs! It's a wonderful story of a woman who is on a journey of self-discovery after finding her husband in their bed with another woman. It's a sisterhood tale, complete with satisfying friendships among the various women in the story.

An awesome ride! Even as a happily married woman, I can identify with Meg's emotions as she realizes that she has been unhappy most of her life. With her wonderful female friends, some pretty New-Age-y but so much fun, Meg discovers what it is to be a woman with choices.

I don't get Kris Radish and I don't get her books, but this is not to say it was not well-written. Just not my cup of tea. Some people would enjoy the book and call it thought-provoking and soul-stirring. I was looking for brain candy and entertainment. We were just working on different levels. It is very well-written though and the right reader would get a lot of enjoyment from it.

Absolutely one of the best books I've ever read....especially for women who've already lived a few years and have experienced tragedy and joy and everything in between, this book will touch your heart, and lift you up to dance :)

One of the best books I have ever read. Just finished reading it for second time and is a keeper - sorry, won't be swapping on this one. Every woman should read this book and share it with their daughters, sisters, friends and mothers! Doesn't matter if you are happily married or divorced, makes you think - makes you dream. Especially will make you realize that you need to get to know yourself and make yourself a priority. Bravo!

Like the rest of Kris Radish's books, a story of true friendship. Meg finds her husband in bed with another woman. Does she burst in on them? No. Instead she begins looking inward, and realizes she has not been truly happy. She sets out on a journey of self discovery, looking for the true Meg, and along the way finds new friends and a new life for herself.

Loved it.

Meg Fratano has just witnessed the unthinkable: her husband of 27 years making love to another woman. In her bed. And all Meg wanted to do was watch. Quietly, secretly, watch. then she realized her life would never be the same.

Meg isn't sure what she wants, but she knows it's not what she had. After almost three decades of marriage and two children, she has finally awakened to how unhappy she is.

Now, with the help of friends old and new, and even her teenage daughter--a former brat who has blossomed into a startlingly wise young woman--Meg just might break through the chains of everyone's expectations for her and find the strength to take the first step on her own path. To strip away a lifetime of inhibitions. To dance naked at the edge of dawn.

Another one of Kris Radish books on the trials and tribulations that women face and how having friendship and guidance from each other help ease the struggles along the way. If you are into that sort of woman thing than you will enjoy this book but I found it to be a little boring at times.

I did not read and I am sure I missed a good book but I was ready for a romance or historical novel. Enough women bonding books for a while.
