While the plot line was interesting, I didn't enjoy this one as much as I have others in the series. Perhaps it was because the rape case was enough sex in the book, without adding all of Heller's own gratuitous, sexual escapades.
While reading it, I remember often thinking I wanted the book to end so I could read something else.
But it was nice to meet "Buster" Crabbe again. I remember his movies with fondness. And a lady friend and I both enjoy the "Charlie Chan" movies and books. She is really a fan of Charlie's.
