The Damascus Way is the final book in the Acts of Faith trilogy. Yet again, this story reminded me how dangerous being a member of the early church really was. Persecution came from all sides. Yet the believers' faith and network of followers was strong. Like The Centurion's Wife and The Hidden Flame, this story drew me in and didn't let go until I finished the book, leading to several late nights of feverish reading. I was a little disappointed in the way the authors chose to end the story (and the series), but this was still a wonderful way to while away a few nights.

I think that this may actually have been my favorite book of the series. I WAS left wanting more at the end though! Throughout the whole series, the authors have made the characters seem to live and breath. This book really put the exclamation point on how dangerous it was for the new Church. It also made me intensely grateful that I can openly proclaim my faith, read my Bible in public places and pray freely with other believers.
This is definitely a Christian fiction book, but I believe that it would be a good book/series for any who are interested in the historical aspects and political climate of that time. It moves smoothly thru the chapters and you find yourself aching for the characters in those perilous times.

I enjoyed this book the last in a series. But I must say I enjoyed the first two books better. It gives what life was like back when Saul was prosecuting the followers of Jesus. The miracles they saw from God back when their lives were in danger. How people came to hear about Jesus and follow him.
I love this series! I was raised in church and this series takes me there. I read Centurians Wife first, and I was hooked.
I really enjoyed the entire Acts of Faith series. This last book tied up loose ends and continued the story of the apostles. I enjoyed the history and cultural info as well as the love stories. These books have something for everyone. My husband is also enjoying the series.
Excellent, truly enjoy the historical events and story.
