Unrequited love always tugs at my heart and offers plenty of opportunities for emotional scenes. Almost-on-the-shelf Maryann loves Timothy, yet he doesn't have a clue and inadvertently tramples on her feelings when he looks elsewhere for a bride. In fact, he manages to do this a few times. Being friends have never felt so hard. They're good together, their romance feels real, and it's just a doggone good story. 4 stars.
