I recently stumbled across this and a bunch of other "Choose Your Own Adventure" books from my childhood. Reading them over sure brought back memories. This one has a medieval feel to it. It takes place in the middle ages, a middle ages of fantasy, where dragons hoard treasures and gold in their dens, and a brave group of adventurers set out to raid a dragon's den in the mountains. You can get arrested and taken to the salt mines, run afoul of an angry wizard, and, of course, get roasted.
