This book has a lot of really usable information on saving money while: eating, buying a car, dressing, buying furniture, furnishing your home, cutting utility costs, gardening, raising children, getting an education, traveling, entertaining your family, getting health care and insurance, dealing with taxes, and doing estate planning. Some of the information on older electronic items and address for different clubs is dated. But a lot of the information is still fresh for the generation coming up today. People today want to try to raise and can their own vegetables while saving money all around. This book is a good start. Dawn
Pretty good book - lots of common sense tips and ideas on how to cut costs. some are out of date though, just due to the publishing date of the book.
