This is a wonderful classic series of children's books. Curious George gets into a lot of trouble. Very funny.
George is a good little monkey and always very curious.....This is my 3 year old daughter's favorite book. She never tires of it. I find it refreshing that it hasn't been edited from the original version and still includes a lot of things that nowadays people might deem "un-PC" like George going to jail for a bit and talking about a skinny and a fat police man. These stories are delightful and timeless.
That curious monkey is always getting into trouble--->>Now a full length animated motion picture! See what started it all so long ago.
Curious George is in trouble again....
I used to love this book when I was a child. I still do, even though it's totally not PC anymore! George is inhumanely captured and brought to a zoo. Along the way, he falls overboard from a ship, is arrested and jailed, smokes a pipe, steals, is lost, and eventually finds a home in the zoo. If I had known then what I know now, I would've been traumatized by this book! The simple, colorful drawings are entrancing, though, and small children just get sucked into the adventures and don't know how scary the story really is!
Got this for my Grandchildren they love it.
Thrilling true story of the Johnstown Flood.
Curious George is a monkey that is constantly getting himself into predicaments that had my son laughing at every turn of the page!
I loved reading this when I was little! (okay I still love reading this :) )

This book is used in Sonlight Core 4.
Be mindful that this book was written in the 30s so there are things like George smoking a pipe and being put in jail. Not necessarily what a modern day writer would include in a children's book.
I will send 3 Curious George Books for 1 credit- this and Curious George Bakes a Cake and Curious George at the Beach.
