The pictures are amazing, but the text is in a very small type, sometimes hard to follow, and arranged confusingly on the page. I'm pretty sure it was originally written in some other language; there are some oddities to the translation that lead me to believe this.

Not a great 'Very First Book' for new bonsai enthusiasts, but useful once you've gotten a feel for the art and want some more detail. There was a technique for working on root-over-rock in here I'd never heard of before.
