Truly an enjoyable book to read! In a way it reminded me of the series "Blue Bloods" on television --- I think there were 5 maybe 6 kids in this family, with the father being ex-commissioner, 3 working in New York as cops, daughter in NY being a district lawyer and one a cop in CA! A close loving family with the addition of a mother and grandmother all alive! The story was about the one older one, not married and his partner trying to solve a murder with no visible clues and her going off to FL to care for one of her parents coming back engaged to another guy where the whole family thought that she would marry into their family then she ends up hospitalized trying to nab the killer with a happy ending! Look forward to finding the rest of this series and yet can well be read as a read-alone!
