Contemporary romance by Siri Mitchell. I saw it described as "Christian Chick Lit," and this is accurate. Had I known that before I put it on my WL, I wouldn't have requested it, (erotic romance reader, here) and it would have been my loss. This is an excellant, well-written love story. This book has characters that you can relate to, and love. They aren't perfect, just trying to get through life. The plot is good and solid, it is very well written,...and funny! I love this book, and I'm glad I read it. I could go on and on. Definately worth reading, no matter what your reading preferences are.

I'm in the minority here: 2 stars at most (changed to just 1--there were no redeeming qualities about this book.)
First--this is a Christian faith-based book. I didn't know that and I have no problem with it--I just would have liked to know ahead of time.
(Also, my copy has the 4 or 5 actual curse words blacked out with a pen--the sender discovered it as she was wrapping up the book, so she PMed me to let me know and I don't mind. But please, don't censor books to be traded!!)
I found the main character to be abrasive and unyielding with a very skewed set of morals. She's a 30-year-old virgin who makes very cruel remarks about her co-workers, both on her blog and at work. I felt like the Christianity was added to the story to make it appeal to a certain demographic.
She is also "environmentally conscious" to the point of ridiculousness: she doesn't hesitate to spread her belief to anyone and everyone. As you might imagine, this gets old quick.
I've spent time to both read and review this book--I wish I hadn't. :(

Stayed up all night to finish this; funny and touching.
Very cute; another humorous look at life that most of us can identify with on some level. A back story of hurt and insecurity, based on a past Jackie had no control over, defines who she is; can she change it?
I loved the format. I'm not a blogger, but I found that even I was looking forward to the blogs. The author's blogging characters have personalities of their own and after a while I could even tell who they were by their comments! How cool was that!
A very fun read. Fast and furious, with a grandmother and her friends who will take some of us back a few years; nostalgia at its comedic best.

I had been putting off reading this book for awhile. I have found more chic-lit books that I don't like than I do like. This was refreshingly funny & clever. I enjoyed the storyline & liked seeing the characters grow. I found myself looking for time to be able to pick up the book to read some more!
This book was funny, I was actually laughing out loud while I was reading it. Very clever how the blog is intertwined with the story, giving it a contemporary feel and helping us see Jackie as the other characters in the book see her.
I read this book all in one sitting. The details of the Air Force Academy at the very beginning were lost on me, but I kept reading and the book grew on me more and more. I laughed, I cried, I stayed up until midnight to finish reading the book.
Yes, agree that there is some "faith based morality" to the story - Christian with a twist sort of like "Bollywood style" ... not my usual read but I found it very hard to put down.
Book ended up revealing a deep understanding of the heroine's fear of intimacy and why she found it so hard to accept love in her life.... Not to give away the ending but found it to be somewhere between a tear jerker and a HEA (happily every after)

I really enjoyed this book. It is a quick read, very fluffy but still cute.
This book is a riot and the romance is great too. I could not put it down! It is also set in a area near where I live, so that was fun too!
I really enjoyed this book. If I'd had the time, I probably could have read it within a day. I will admit it was a little predictable, but I still like a light-hearted book at times even if I can guess what will happen. I liked the humor in it. I tend to read many books that are deep and a bit depressing so it was nice to read one that was written with a more humorous tone.
