Excellent book. Fast paced. Relates to the Vietnam war pow/mia situation.

I've like all the DeMille books I've read...until this one. I wanted to put it down several times. I found the story to have a fatal flaw. It's boring. This story lacks any complexity in the plot. It's very linear with too little action. I was always wondering, Is anything exciting going to happen? The ending is okay, but it's all narrative, no dialogue, and written more like a memoir. I will read another DeMille book sometime but he sure better up his game from this poor effort.
