Crystal Hubbard is one of my favorite authors, however, I didn't particularly enjoy this book. I really liked Lucas, the rock star who fell head-over-heels in love with Miranda when he saved her from the "crush" of a mob of fans at one of his concerts. He and Amanda couldn't be more perfect for each other. All that held them back from a meaningful relationship is Amanda's irrational fear that one day their fairy-tale romance would end. I found myself skipping pages at a time to get to the end of the book.
Great read! I highly recommend it.
Crush is well written and pulls reader into the story, I really enjoyed it. Author should be writing for a mainstream publisher, she's awesome. This is an interracial romance, but readers are not required to translate "jargon" into language they can understand. Excellent story, excellent author.
Sportswriter Mirana Penney knows all about men with balls and big sticks, but she hits all the wrong notes when she finds herself reluctantly falling for rock star Lucas Fletcher. No stranger to the pitfalls of dating a celebrity, Miranda would rather shun true love than risk having her heart broken by the one man with whom she might find it.
