This is one series of fantasy books that I have actually had hold my interest beyond the second or third book. Robert Jordan didn't just create a small world, but an entire alternate universe that seems so vast and wide that you will never be able to uncover all the hidden secrets and glorious parts. If you haven't read these you should begin immediately.
I love this series. Every book has been amazing. Where most fantasy writers create a country RJ has created a globe filled with different cultures, customs and languages.

Great Series of Books!
One of my favorite series. I highly recommend to hard core fantasy lovers.
This is book 7 of a series called The Wheel of Time. It is science fiction and once I read the first book, I had to read the rest. The book is very fanciful and tells about things that you know can't be real but wonder if there could be a place or time where these things could have happened.
"A Crown of Swords" by Robert Jordan, 7th in the Wheel of Time series, follows the same tempo and format as the other books in the series. . . 750 pages of character development, quickly pulled together in the last 100 pages with unexpected (?) twists. This one stays the status quo - if you like Robert Jordan, you'll like the book; id you don't like Robert Jordan, you probably won't make it through it. My only struggle is keeping the vast array of characters straight in my head!
