An interesting review of the political and emotional times surrounding the battle at Antietam. I found it an easy read, but very little new from all the other histories of the Civil War.

This book was not strictly about the battle but also about the people too. I enjoyed the personal thoughts of the major players in history. This one is really for the battle buffs.
