Very funny and engrossing read. Includes a glossary of terms in case you don't remember (or were not yet born in) the 70's.

A novel of coming of age in the late 70s for Jewish kids in Chicago. Great portrayal of Chicago.

A book that is rich with life and personalities. Several Jewish families in Chicago during the late 70's /early 80's are somehow connected. Touching, humorous, and very realistic; I could really relate to this one. Poignant but not overly so.
