I really enjoyed this book. I learned all about snipers. If you love Navy SEALs and want to read a good book this one is for you. I can not wait for the others to get here. It makes me want to go back and read the first one again.

Obviously a lot of research into weapons and ammunition went into this book. The story and the characters, however did not do it for me. How can we take this guy seriously when he repeatedly calls her "cupcake"...Really??? Ms. Ross is no Suzanne Brockmann, baby, who still does military, romantic suspense the best.

This author writes great characters but terrible plots. I get so excited to read more about the characters and then get disappointed by the plot. The ending in this book didn't even make sense until I read it the second time. The shooters motive turns out to be something that has nothing to do with the rest of the story. I still don't understand why the person that hired the shooter even hired him.

Not as good as some of JoAnn Ross's other books but worth reading just the same.
