I didn't think I would like this story but it's actually one of my favorite of the series. I loved the sexual banter between Tez and Ellie Bee. It's cute and sexy in a dirty kind of way. I think Bardsley has improved a lot on her dialogue in between characters. I also enjoyed that they had to go back to the history of the town and how it ties the other families together in Borken Heart to solve the mystery. The mystery here is stronger than her other books but I thought it was good. Would have liked to spend more time learning more about the were-cats, but I know it might have been a distraction if she did wrote more about them.
So over all I thought it was well worth the read.

Loved this book. It is a real page turner. I can't wait until the next book comes out.

This was the story of Elizabeth and Tez, and my least favorite of all the Broken Heart books. A big chunk was a solid mystery, and I became bored with it. Because I loved all her other installments, I did finish it, and the ending came together nicely. Tez is a were-jaquar, so a seperate story of the were-cat pride co-existed within the book which I did enjoy.
