If you are interested in Walter Cronkite or his love for his wife. then this is a book for you. If you think you are mostly interested in WW II journalism, then you should probably read some other book. Journalism takes a second place to Walter's career and his love for Betsy.
Still, it was a nice book, put together by their grandson.
If you are interested in war journalism overall, I suggest "The First Casualty" by Phillip Knightley. The title comes from a statement supposedly made by a U.S. Senator, "The first casualty of war is truth."

Great book about one of the most beloved correspondents in America. His letters home to his wife demonstrated the love he had for her.
