Being a lifelong Crimson Tide fan, I enjoyed this book immensely! Eli Gold is known as "The voice of Alabama football" and this book is written with every bit of the enthusiasm that has earned him that title. It covers his early days in broadcasting and how he wound up in the south, as well. It's very entertaining reading and I love his revelations of how football in the south was a whole new experience for him-a world he was not familiar with even with all his sports experience-and how he grew to respect and cherish that world. Wonderful reading!
