If you have a group of girlfriends that meet together and have known each other for a time, this book is a good one. It is a mystery, but with much fun and situations with which it is easy to relate.

This book is a very quick, enjoyable read. It has recipes at the beginning of each chapter that pertain to what is happening in that chapter. Very cute touch! It explores the bond of a group of women who meet every Friday for food, fellowship and whatever comes their way.

Again, this is NOT a cozy mystery! In this book, the women discover that one of them has been hiding secrets about her past, but when she is given her father's belongings, she has to face her past. Along the way, the viewpoint from her parents is woven in through jumps back in time, and again, I learned quite a bit about history. I was disappointed to learn that this series did not continue.
