Here is the never before told story of Richard Speck by the prosecutor who put him in prison for life. The Crime of The Century just may be the true crime book of the year. It reads like fiction; if only it were.

This book left me wanting to know what happened the night the eight nurses were killed. I would like to know more about the nurses and put a picture with a name. The lovely faces on the front of the book were there on the cover without names. The book focus is of course Richard Speck, his capture, trial and sentence. It was interesting, boring at timesbut overall a good read.
