Jim Heron is a fallen angel charged with saving the souls of seven people. In this book, Jim is trying to save his friend, Isaac Rothe, a black-ops soldier who is trying to get out of the organization. Isaac is the target of assassins because "nobody gets out alive". When he ends up in jail, Isaac's fate is in the hands of his public defender, Grier Childe.
Another great installment in the Fallen Angels series. If you liked the first book, you'll really enjoy this one. Jim and his buddies, Eddie and Adrian, are great characters. I liked the romance between Isaac and Grier, even though it was super quick. Even the demon, Devina, is interesting. My rating: 4.5 Stars.

JIm the semi angelic angel has another soul to save in this horrible game, between good and evil. I have a big problem with the constant reference to it being a game. It is a very sick game and Jim is willing to sell his body and soul not to lose his game pieces(souls). I was in sock at the sudden sexual torture scene in the story, no what it was but how it was described. I would have liked to use more of my imagination. All through the rest of the book I had that horrible vision of Jim on Devina's table, ick. It ruined the rest of the story for me. Jim is too sacrificing, yes that is possible.

I'm just not enjoying this series from JR Ward. I haven't read too many books that I would rate better than her Black Dagger Brotherhood series but this new set is just falling short. It takes forever to get to the story line. The dialogue about the love interests is lacking. The love scenes are not at all like a normal JR Ward book. I plan to keep reading them simply because they are written by her and I'm hopeful the next one will be better. But disappointed over all so far.

This series just got better with the addition of Crave. Covet (Book 1) was good, but this one seemed more intense to me. Loved the interaction and chemistry. JR Ward is an author that makes the story flow!

And I thought one was good. Two continues the thrill and also bonus' with the anticipation for the third installation, "Envy". Characters are great and the story keeps you guessing in this hard to put down, paranormal, suspense thriller.

great read. another page turner for JR Ward. the brothers are best, but this series is a close 2nd!
Good Book for a fast read and a continuing story line. I liked the Characters especially Jim Heron and his attitude.
Caldwell seems to be a popular Place for the Supernatural.

Am almost thru reading this book and I'll be sorry when it's over. Gosh what a great writer Ward is...
The second book in the series the story is beginning to pick up and the characters are becoming more familiar. The age old story of Heaven vs. Hell with Wards twist. Love the fallen angels storyline and of course the four on the green.
I almost didn't read this one b/c I wasn't that fond of the first one in the series. So happy I did, this one was so much better! Great twist to it and even though they are not together long, I really liked Grier and Isaac! Totally one of JR Wards best!
I am just loving this series. I love the development of Jim's character. He's the perfect hero, in that he's not perfect. But he's really throwing himself into his mission. I hope he finds a way to help Sissy.
Ok, Ok, Ok, I really really tried with this one. But I can only say it was so-so. I love her BDB series, but this one just drags for me. This book did make a lot more sense to me than the first, I understood what was going on. And I really like Isaac and Grier (who thought up that name for a girl?) And I find Adrian and Eddie completely adorable for wayward angels. The whole theory of the series is fascinating. Even Devina is an interesting character for a Demon. But it's too long, it bogs down for me in the inner dialogue and doesn't move fast enough. I actually put this book down several times and read other books. When I picked it back up I skimmed thru alot for the last 100 or so pages, focusing on the final chapters. I don't know if I will try book 3, if its over 400 pages I may have to pass.

This book is like all of hers, GREAT! She can continue to write books that are along the same story line and make them totally different. The book starts with a bang literally. Two special ops soldiers are in the desert when one has set it up to commit suicide by stepping on a bomb he previously planted. He was alive after the blast. The other soldier gets medical attention for him and carries him for help that saves his life. The book just keeps getting better after that start. I can't wait to read her new one that comes out, March 2011.
If you read the first one and liked it, you will love the second installment, Crave. Again, Jim Heron and his angel buddies Eddie and Ad have to save another soul. I really am afraid to say anymore, I don't want to give anything away. It's non-stop action and suspence. Definitely read the first one or Crave may be confusing. Five stars.
Great book! Loved it!
great author great book love it
loved this second book of the fallen angels. Looking forward to the third. Course, the gorgeousness of the angels and the great sex descriptions can get a little monotonous, (not). lots of fun!
Fun read
