This is a great Love Inspired Book, filled with redemption, grief, loss and of course, true love. It centers around a wounded soul in the form of Jeremy Hightree, who has come back to his hometown of Dawson as a success. Once the poor, neglected child of an alcoholic, Jeremy has no made a success of himself and has purchased the run-down church that everyone neglected. Beth Bradshaw loves the church and wants to save it. It meant a lot to her deceased mother and she can't fathom why Jeremy wants to destroy it. As Beth battles Jeremy over the church, old feelings resurface between the two and Beth must deal with her demons. Great story. Loved it.
