Thomas Paine would have made mince meat of the American administrations of the last 50 years. Thomas Paine is dead. At least we have Marjorie Cohn to attempt to restore some semblance of an America moving toward a humane republic. If you happen to actually believe that the law of America is the US Constitution and not any particular political cabal then this book is an indictment of treason perpetrated by all three branches of the government led by the Executive Branch. The problem is that the Senate and the Supreme Court are criminally negligent for not intervening on behalf of decency for the people of the US and the world. Please read and share in the interest of democracy.
