Good story -

"Clem Wells has made a career out of screwing up. First she quit school to get married. Then she spent years being the perfect corporate wife - only to get dumped. Finally she went home to manage her family's rance, figuring even she couldn't wreck a smoothly running operation. But she'd saved the worst for last.

Who would've guessed that those sweet little cows she'd put out to pasture would turn into feral beasts that refused to be rounded up? Simple math said 0 cows = $0. And $0 meant her family's ranch was in jeapordy.

What Clementine needed now was a miracle. Hard to believe that a miracle would take the form of Dexter Scott. But if a silent ornery and stubborn cowboy was all that was available, then she'd take what she could get."

The heroine marries, gets dumped, and comes back to manage her parents' ranch while they're gone. She feels she can never succeed at anything, has problems with the ranch, and learns how strong she really is during the course of the book. And also, learns that she is a desirable person.
A good read.

The story of a young woman who felt as though she was basically a failure in life because she had quit college to marry and that had failed so she went home to Mom and Dad's ranch. She was going to continue managing the ranch when her parents retired. This tells of all the problems, doubts, and feelings she went through in the process of running the ranch. A book that once you are into it you do not want to put down. A rather simple down to earth romance and all the twist and turns that a romance can take.
