The first book in the Bitter Creek series. The Hatfields and McCoys seem tame compared to the Blackthorns and the Creeds....until love comes along. A good series. I've definitely enjoyed it.
I liked this book, although I'm not to into contemporary western romances. It deals with horse cutting and a lot of family dynamics. A pretty good read.

The first book I read by Joan Johnston...I stayed up until 6am to finish it. I will definitely be picking up more of her titles.
as good as all her books
Good read, not great due to the snarkiness of the heroine being a bit much. She was a too determined to hold onto supposed past injustices and a bit too self sacrificing.
Overall great storytelling and sparked my interest in the subsequent books. However, as far as the romance is concerned, meh. I did not like the chemistry between the two main characters.
