An adventure story for boys and girls alike who are building up their reading skills. A "Living Book" in that it tells an entertaining story that children will love set in a real time in history (America 1707).

In 17 07 eight year-old Sarah Noble and her father John and their horse Thomas traveled to a new land just the three of them where her father was going to build a new house for the father the mother and seven children. Sarahâs mother had told her not to be afraid and she tried not to be afraid after the house was built her father left her with a Indian family, who were very kind who took care of her very well. Well he went to go get her mother and her siblings And when her father came back the Indian, dad told John carried her on his shoulders to her new house so she could see her mother and her siblings and Sarah was glad to get the new house because she had a warm bed to sleep in quilts and she was with her family. She didn't have to be afraid anymore

Great book! My boys weren't really into it though! Maybe a bit better for young girls.

This is a very good book about a little girl traveling with her father to a new home among Indians as her father goes off to get the rest of the family the young girl is raised by thier new Indian friends. Sarah is a young girl but gets through all the trials with courage. A must read

This is the story of a young girl named Sarah Noble, who had an adventure with some Native Americans. When my mother bought me this book, I had absolutely no desire to read it. But when I read it, I absolutely fell in love with it!
