I've been in 12-Step recovery for almost 12 years, and Courage to Change is the single most important book in my recovery work. I call it my "pocket oracle"; it's astonishing how often I've opened CtoC and found that that day's reading, reminder, and quote were *exactly* what I needed that day to help me stay sober and serene.
