Other than Carla Kelly's novella, this book was a major disappointment. I couldn't believe such bland, boring stories. I forced myself to finish the last one.

SAINTS AND SINNERS (Josi S. Kilpack) --
This plotline is as old as the hills; two neighbors realize they are interested in each other. They've been childhood friends and Neville is surprised when his friend Burke is interested in his neighbor, Eloise. In fact, Neville is horrified that "fast-and-loose-Burke" would be interested in such a fine person. In Neville's efforts to protect Eloise from Burke's machinations, he makes a general mess of things.

THE CHRISTMAS ANGLE (Carla Kelly) --
Carla Kelly has an ongoing series about this genius, Able Six. This is the story of how Able and Maridee got together. Anything by Kelly is sure to please and this is no exception. Able is on half-pay and gets the opportunity to teach two boys for a month for room-and-board and ten shillings. However, Able meets another poor-as-a-church-mouse, Meridee, sister-in-law to the vicar (who is hiring Able). She instantly understands Able's gift; Able tells her that his captain always told Able that he needed a keeper. Is Meridee going to be that keeper?

THE PERFECT CHRISTMAS (Jennifer Moore) --
This story is so stupid that I won't waste my time describing it.
