Thi book is one of the NYC detective Sigrid Harald series, an earlier series by this author. I like the character very much and enjoyed this plot set in the art world. I am on the WL for the rest of the series.

A Maron mystery featuring Lt. Sigrid Harald, who investigates a death in a private art museum, the Breul House. A fascinating cast of characters including the Lt.'s love interest, older artist, Oscar Nauman. All takes place in December. A very good read.

I've been a Maron fan for years and somehow missed this book. It was the perfect "holiday read"!!
