The core of this research consists of a thorough analysis of the companies CSR activities and performance, as well as of a close examination of the countries CSR perception, development and future trends. Local culture,leadership principles and performance indicators, are some of the highlighted success factors of CSR implementation. Potential for future research and consulting is further discussed.
The relevance of sustainability to production technologies, the respective influence of local culture and the extensive information on CSR theory, related concepts and instruments, make this work a unique reference to understand CSR and its implementation in a cultural context.« less
