Lots of great tips and simple recipes. The book is actually a small 3-ring binder so you can take the pages out easy to photocopy, then put back into place! There's a whole section in the back where you can add your own favorite recipes, plus lists showing how long certain foods will last in the freezer or refrigerator. There are emergency substitutions handy (example: for 1 tsp of Baking Powder, use 1/2 tsp cream of tartar plus 1/4 tsp baking soda.), plus weights and measures, too. A great book for those of us who are just too busy to cook each and every day.
