A working auction house for antiques, a murder mystery and a hint of romance. What more could you ask for in one story?

If you like antiques - this book is a lot of fun. Well written.

I liked all the information about the appraisals and enjoyed most of the secondary characters - particularly Max and the police chief. I felt it took awhile to get the story off the ground and there were a few aspects I would've liked tied up a bit better. This has the potential to be an enjoyable series and I look forward to reading the next ones.

"A satisfying cosy debut... Cleland, who herself was once an antiques dealer... puts her insider knowledge to admirable use [and] proves adept at shifting suspicion from one character to another....Readers will want to see more." From Publishers Weekly

Really liked this book. Good plot, characters and being that it is based in NH where I live, is an added bonus. Looking forward to reading the next in the series.

This is the first book I've read by Ms. Cleland and I really liked it! The subject matter, antiques and auctions, is wonderful and it's always fun to learn something new while solving a cozy mystery. I love the heroine/sleuth and am anxious to read the next one!
Really like this series.
I'm enjoying all the Josie Prescott books by Cleland.
